You need EOI to do the course
Presenting accetpable Evidence of Identity (EOI) to your trainer is a requirement to complete the SA Boat Operators licence course.
Example: an SA drivers licence, Medicare card and bank card (credit/debit card) will pass the EOI check.
You WILL NOT be able to obtain the licence qualification without sufficient EOI. Those who arrive with EOI that does not meet the requirements will need to redo the course and test at a later date, with the correct EOI. A fee to rebook will apply in this scenario.
PHYSICAL EOI
All physical EOI documents presented must be the original, or a JP certified copy.
Simple photocopies are not acceptable.
DIGITAL EOI
EOI via the mySAGOV app is acceptable however the physical format is preferred.
A picture of your EOI is not acceptable.
RECOMMENDED EOI
A driver’s licence, combined with a Medicare card and a bank card is perfect.
Other EOI may also be acceptable.
